About the speaker: Darrell Blankenship began preaching at the age of 16 in Prestonsburg KY. He graduated from Lipscomb in 76 with a BA in Bible. He received an MA in 86 from Austin Peay State University. He has taught High School Bible and Social Studies at David Lipscomb High school for 25 years.
He has served as pulpit minister for congregations in KY and Middle Tennessee, most recently for 13 years at Charlotte Ave. until they merged with West Nashville Heights. He is now co-preaching for the newly formed Charlotte Heights congregation. Married to Brenda, he has two sons Aaron and Ryan. His father and grandfather were both preachers in the hills of KY
